The 2023-2024 OFFICEr Team!
We are so excited to serve you this year!
Ryan Soucek
(president)
Howdy! My name is Ryan and I am a junior chemical engineering major from The Woodlands. This year I will be serving as the President for Aggie Rotaract. One thing I love about Rotaract is the various volunteer events. Every time I volunteer I think of a phrase I once heard which was “helping one person may not change the world, but it can change the world for one person”. Getting to volunteer alongside fellow Texas A&M students to make a positive impact in the community is very fulfilling and uplifting. My favorite event is the St. Joe's Arts and Crafts to make cards for patients. Creating heart lifting messages and cards for these individuals facing difficult times, always makes my day. I am looking forward to another year in Aggie Rotaract.

Ritu Chauhan
|
Howdy! My name is Ritu and I am a Biology major from Wylie, TX. Most importantly I am the loudest and the proudest member of the fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2025! I am very excited and honored to be the Vice President of Rotaract this year! I joined this club my very first semester at college and have been a member ever since. I have gained so much experience and knowledge from this club and I am looking forward to the many more opportunities I am yet to discover. Rotaract has been a very enlightening experience for me as we aim to help out in the community in any way. I found that the club is all about selfless service and having fun. Our service work has helped me grow as a student and has helped our club evolve into a family. I am excited to be a member of the officer team this year and can’t wait to see all the things Rotaract has in store!

As Treasurer I primarily take care of the financial side of our organization, but feel free to come up to me with any questions! I am excited to meet new people, and help out in another year of Aggie Rotaract.

Lauren Giles
|
Howdy! My name is Lauren Giles, and I am serving as the Secretary of Aggie Rotaract this year. I am majoring in biology and minoring in psychology, and I am from Azle, TX. I joined Rotaract my freshman year because I had done Interact in high school and wanted to get involved in something like it in college. My favorite event from last year was probably helping out at ROAR, which was an event held by the Rotary club to encourage literacy in Bryan-College Station. I was running a toss the ring carnival game for the kids who came, and it was so much fun! Being involved in Interact and Rotaract has really built my communication skills and my professional network. If you ever need someone to talk to, I’m always down to have a conversation :)
